Advanced Course: Managing Pesticides in Fresh Produce and Flowers training is desigend for Technical Managers who have attended the Managing Pesticides one-day course. This is a half day update and deep dive into specific key topics.
Learning Outcomes
- Analyse pesticide risks in the food chain and use data to develop an effective residue testing programme
- Understand the principles of IPM and evaluate emerging trends in crop protection
- Assess the use of PPPs, including the management of derogations under current regulatory frameworks
- Apply knowledge of pesticide risk management to the floral category and assess potential impacts on fresh produce supply chains — specific module if required
