Professional Experience

Over 20 years in the food industry. 10 Years with CMi - including set up of Assured Produce/Eurepgap. Responsible for Beef Labelling Scheme. BRC audits and training of BRC auditors worldwide. Also several roles within Tesco – as QA Manager within Distribution depots and also as an auditor for the PIU team. More recently Technical Director for a produce import company – Sydney Hart.

Fresh, frozen and prepared produce; fresh red and white meat and fish; confectionery, alcoholic and soft drinks, ready to eat; bakery.

Strong audit background within BRC and also retailer and produce orientated schemes – e.g. Global Gap; Nurture; Assured Produce.

Site technical management experience. SALSA approved Mentor.

IRCA Lead auditor; Intermediate HACCP; BRC Level 6 trained. Also Advanced Food Hygiene and Basic Health and Safety.
